Several people think that starting and maintaining a chicken coop is a very costly and time consuming occupation. The main advantage of starting a coop is that you can produce fresh chicken and eggs and can use those items in your house and if you have it in excess, then you can sell it too. If your chicken coop is a large or medium sized one, then you will be able to sell chicken and eggs and can make additional income.
Few days back my neighbor who is also my colleague in my office proposed a suggestion of starting a business firm by entering into the poultry farming sector in a large scale. When I asked my colleague who will look after the chicken coop as we had to attend our duty in our office. My friend told me that even though maintaining large scale chicken coops required hard efforts, we could run it in our extra time and the rest we can entrust to our spouses’ hand. I agreed with my colleague because from now onwards I will not have to hear the complaint of my spouse regarding rotten eggs and unhygienic chicken.
